I'm sorry but I don't understand why the manager in charge reeked of being annoyed at my presence. I just wanted to buy a meal hand absolutely hates my time here.

Ice cold beer on tap was great on a hot day

Jeepers creepers. I very rarely complain. I mean almost never but the dining experience given by The Robe Hotel compelled me to write this review. Where to start? One register fits all despite 4 staff members starting at the cue. Took a lifetime to order, that was ok. Girl who finally took my order seemed annoyed at my mere presence, we ordered very basic (off a very ordinary basic menu mind you) which is ok, its a pub after all. I thought well maybe they have limited options so they can handle big numbers.. fair enough. I ordered the Mexican Parma, my wife ordered the fishermans catch. The waitress neglected to mention that the meals will be brought to us, went to go check to see if it were table service and was ignored at the token register whilst being stared at by the rest of the staff. Oh did I mention the salad bar? Neither did they. Wish I never found it. Meals finally roll out after watching table after table arrive and receive their meals first. At last here it comes.. a small boy no older than 9 almost trips on his thong and covers me in my meal. A standard Parma with some soggy chips, remember I wanted Mexican, and a plate that smelled of the gross fish smell are placed before us. I thought ok, Ill stick with it, dont want to wait another 50 years. I have been cooking professionally for 10 years and I havent the slightest clue how a Parma can be made soo tasteless. I would need to harness every ounce of my culinary ability to replicate this chicken kitchen sponge. As for my wife.. she had ammonia vapour firing out of her nostrils after taking a bite off of her mysterious fish. Forgive me for this novel of a review, but I just needed to get that off my chest. Please warn your friends and family. I can only pray my wife isnt violently ill on our trip home. Happy honeymoon sweetheart.

Best pub in town. The bar staff were outstanding. We were served by Annabelle and Ebony and they made us feel incredibly welcomed. Impeccable customer service, great music & fun times. Juke box was a hit!

Pork belly fajitas were amazing! But my partners seafood, battered perch and calamari were very oily and pretty much tasteless. Prawns and muscles were really nice though! Great customer service too :)
