Nice setting. Our meals were small and not cheap. Fish and chips comes with a salad that consists of a few lettuce leaves not washed very thoroughly!
Rang to make a booking early, message said leave details and they would get back to us. Also noted that they probably wouldn't answer calls at night. Arrived with no booking. Was meant to be a special night for partner and I. Wont be recommending .
Appreciated getting a booking so quickly as was a busy weekend. Food came out very quickly and presented really well, plenty on offer and clearly very fresh and well cooked. My only issue was the really heavy hand with the salt on everything... Which was such a shame as the food didn't need it.
The best seafood platter I've ever had, and I've tried many! Everything was prepared perfectly (I didn't have to peel prawns!), tasty and cohesive (no random option that throws the entire platter out of whack). We also had delicious desserts. Overall we could not fault the meal we had (and my husband can be difficult to please)! Staff were friendly and attentive, atmosphere and decor were upscale without being stuffy or too fancy to feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend Sails at Robe.
